Pressure Standards - Piston Gauges

Model 2413 DPI Cell
The differential pressure cell has two pressure chambers separated by a thin metal diaphragm. A difference in pressure in the two chambers causes a deflection of the diaphragm which is sensed by an LVDT circuit. The output from the LVDT is displayed on the indicator.

Model 2456 Piston Gauge Monitor
Accounting for environmental factors when performing piston gauge calibrations is an important but labor intensive process. Ruska's Model 2456 Piston Gauge Monitor (PGM) and WinPrompt software help automate this process.

Gas Deadweight Gauge to 1000 psi - Model 2465
The Model 2465 Gas Piston Gauge has a long history of serving national standard laboratories, commercial industry and government organizations as a gas piston gauge standard for over 40 years. Now, Ruska offers the next step in the development of the Model 2465. With a new autofloat controller, operator intervention is reduced to simply applying the mass load, while still providing the highest level of performance available in a gas piston gauge: 0.0015% of reading.

Gas Deadweight Gauge - Model 2468 Pitot/Static Primary Standard
The model 2468 Pitot Static Primary Standard is specifically designed for calibrating today's high performance flight line and Air Data Test Systems. Time-proven materials, hand craftsmanship, and a lineage of intercomparisons to national standards laboratories at the highest level are coupled with new automated technology to make the Model 2468 Pitot Static Primary Standard the world's choice for calibrating Air Data Test Systems.

Gas Deadweight Gauge to 3000 psi - Model 2470
The Model 2470 Gas Piston Gauge is capable of generating gauge pressures from 0.2 to 3000 psig with an accuracy of 0.0010% of reading to 100 psig and 0.0025% of reading to 3000 psig. Operating beyond the typical upper pressure limits of existing gas operated piston gauges, the Model 2470 functions easily for this pressure range due to Ruska instrument's unique ability to manufacture gas-operated / gas-lubricated piston/cylinder assemblies.

High Line Differential Piston Gauge - Model 2470DP
The Model 2470DP Differential Gas Piston Gauge is a versatile, all-in-one instrument developed for the primary purpose of calibrating differential transmitters, transducers and gauges at elevated static (line) pressures.

  • Total Uncertainty: 0.0025% of differential pressure plus the greater of 1 PPM or 0.00016 psi of static line pressure

  • Pressure range: lines pressures from 100 to 3000 psi, differential pressures from fractions of an inH2O to max. line pressure

  • Clean gas operation - no fluids required for operation

  • Compatible with Model 2456 Piston Gauge Monitor

Hydraulic Deadweight Gauge - Model 2485
The model 2485 Hydraulic Piston Gauge is a high precision standard that provides unsurpassed performance in the field of hydraulic piston pressure gauge metrology.

  • Pressure ranges from 10 to 72,500 psi

  • Accuracy to 0.0030% of reading

  • Complete with built in pressure generation

  • Special piston - safe protection system

  • Compact design

WinPrompt Software
Our WinPrompt software helps automate the process of performing piston gauge calibrations. WinPrompt performs all required calculations to inform the operator of the required mass load to generate a desired pressure.

Vacuum Gauges
In addition to the exisiting Model 2456 which provides for electronic monitoring of vacuum for piston gauges that operate in absolute mode, we also provide an analog vacuum gauge with a NIST traceable calibration.

Vacuum Pumps
We provide high capacity, high quality vacuum pumps for use with products that require a vacuum source such as Piston Gauges that operate in absolute mode (2465/2468), automatic pressure controllers such as the 7215 and 7010, and the Model 7710 Air Data Test Set.

Custom Quartz Fabrication
Ruska has the unique capability to provide a variety of custom quartz components to meet specific customer requirements. We have provided various OEM components to the analytical chemistry industry as well as other applications for earth and space research.

Quartz Springs and Pans
We have the unique capability to provide a variety of quartz springs, pans and crucibles to meet specific customer requirements. Many shapes and sizes are available with a variety of sensitivity (for constant), sample weight and helix diameter.
