The MSA TRIGARD Monitoring System is designed for monitoring chlorine, sulfur dioxide and other toxic gases, combustible gases, as well as for oxygen deficiency or enrichment. These new monitors were designed specifically for water and wastewater facilities which are typically large producers of these gases. The MSA TRIGARD Monitor offers an affordable monitoring solution for a variety of needs.

Diffusion point-type gas detectors measure the amount of gas over a small area. The SafEye 800 Open Path Gas Detection System measures the gas cloud concentration over many meters where the gas concentration will not be uniform. Instead of the gas measurement unit of % LEL for the flammable gas, widely used for point-type gas detectors, the unit of measurement for open path is the LEL meter.

MSA's Ultima X Series Gas Monitors, engineered using microprocessor-based technology and designed for varied gas detection needs, provide HART protocol. Ultima XIR and XI Gas Monitors offer DuraSource Technology, a new and improved light source providing extended sensor life.

Ultima X Series Gas Monitors with X3 Technology provide continuous monitoring of combustible and toxic gases and oxygen deficiency. X3 Technology is "X to the Power of 3" and brings multi-sensing, signal boost and ModBus output to the Ultima X Series Gas Monitors. The technology allows three sensors to be inputted into one Ultima X Gas Monitor and provides a ModBus RTU output. Each sensor can be remoted up to 3,000 feet from the monitor. Any combination of electrochemical, catalytic, and infrared-type sensor is available, making it a perfect match for all applications and industries.

The Ultima XL/XT gas monitors are an expansion to the Ultima X Series family of gas monitors. These economical non-display units provide 4-20 mA output along with HART capabilities.

MSA is pleased to offer a new sensor-replacement service. With the Ultima X Series Sensor X-change™ Program, receive replacement calibrated sensor modules when they are needed, on demand. Sensors arrive prior to the Ultima X Gas Monitor’s scheduled calibration due date for easy installation and minimal downtime. Simply change out the old sensor with the new, perform a gas check, and the gas detection system is operational.

When your safety program demands checking gas concentration before entering an area, depend on the Ultima Sampling Module. Designed exclusively to work with the Ultima or Ultima X Gas Monitor by extracting a gas sample from any confined space or area that is too hot, cold, harsh, or inaccessible and delivering it to the gas monitor. The Ultima XIR Gas Monitor is a microprocessor-based, infrared point gas detector for continuous monitoring of combustible gases and vapors. Designed around a rugged, 316 stainless steel enclosure, the Ultima XIR Monitor has multiple entries for maximum flexibility. The Ultima XIR Monitor operation is based on dual-wavelength, heated-optics technology, providing definitive compensation for temperature, humidity and aging effects. The IR technology offers excellent long-term stability, eliminates the need for frequent calibrations and reduces overall cost of ownership.

The Toxgard Monitor is used in a variety of industrial or commercial applications. The monitor is easy to install and operate. Just apply power to the Toxgard II Gas Monitor and it is ready to go or use it as a transportable gas monitor with its optional internal battery. The combustible gas Toxgard II Monitor requires just a simple connection to its remote sensor.

The FlameGard IR3 Flame Detector has been designed as a multi-purpose flame detector. It has applications in a wide range of industrial and commercial facilities, where the threat of accidental fire involves hydrocarbon fuels such as gasoline, hydraulic fluid, paint, various solvents, aviation fuel, natural gas, propane, acetylene, etc.

The Z Gard DS Sensor is designed to detect the presence of carbon monoxide and nitrogen dioxide gases in parking garages, vehicle storage areas or wherever else these two toxic gases may be found. Z Gard DS Sensors are available with two output versions; an addressable RS-485 digital signal or a version with separate 4-20mA analog outputs for the two gases. The Z Gard DS Sensor with RS-485 digital output is specifically designed to operate with any Z Gard C 485 Controller, operating as a system. The Z Gard DS Sensor with 4-20mA outputs can be installed as a stand-alone sensor typically integrated with the Z Gard C Controller or common commercial equipment including PLC, DCS or building automation systems.

The Z Gard S Sensor is designed to detect the presence of carbon monoxide gas, nitrogen dioxide, or refrigerants in air. All Z Gard S Sensors are available with two output versions, a 4-20 mA analog output or an addressable RS-485 digital signal. The Z Gard S Sensor with RS-485 digital output is specifically designed to operate with any Z Gard C 485 Controller, operating as a system. The Z Gard S Sensor with 4-20 mA can be installed as a stand-alone sensor typically integrated with the Z Gard C Controller or common commercial equipment including PLC, DCS or building automation systems.

SafeTOX Gas Monitors are used in a variety of industrial applications. The monitors are easy to install and operate; just apply power to the SafeTOX Gas Monitor and it is ready for operation. SafeTOX Monitors can be applied in any indoor and outdoor application where there is a threat of the build-up of combustible gases, the presence of toxic gases, or oxygen deficiency. All SafeTOX Gas Monitors are designed for maximum performance and reliability.

The Ultima Calibrator offers the industry's simplest method of calibration. An easy-to-use, three-button device allows calibration and address change of the Ultima and Ultima X Gas Monitor and the Toxgard II Gas Monitor.

The Ultima Controller provides complete access to all advanced features of the Ultima and Ultima X Gas Monitors, as well as the Toxgard II Gas Monitor, through its full-function keypad. The controller is used to set the real time clock, set alarm levels, change span-gas values, display date of last calibration, display minimum, maximum and average gas values, change address and set future calibration time/date in addition to providing basic calibration functions. It is completely password-protected.

MSA Calibration Kits offer a quick, convenient, and economical method of checking the response of MSA gas sensors and gas detection instrumentation.
